District Level Interaction Program on- "Climate Change & Adaptation at Local Level"


                              
                                          One day District Level Interaction Program on “Climate Change and Adaptation at Local Level”  is conducted yesterday by coordinator of Nepalese Youth For Climate Action Tanahun Network Mr. Dipendra Kunwar in the Seminar Hall of Task Village,vyas-1, Galbubeshi in the presence of  Mr. Ananda Pokharel (Program officer from Ministry of Science, Technology & Environment  (lj1fg k|ljlw tyf jftfj/0f dGqfno), Mr. Basanta Poudel  and Mr. Raju Pandit Chettri  (Program  officer from Clean Energy Nepal (:jR5 phf{ g]kfn ) - project of World Wildlife Fund (WWF-Nepal), Mr. Pratap Singh Gurung (President of NGO-Network Tanahun), Mr. Hari Singh Gurung (President of Tanahun Tourism Development Centre), Mr. Dev kumar Shrestha  (President of Tanahun  Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Rajeshwor Hadkhale ( President of Akala Community Forest), members of AYC, Teachers, Reporters  & many other social and political personalities.

                                      Akala Youth Club (A.Y.C) officially announced its three projects like “Save Our  Buldi River”,“Plastic Pollution Free Galbubeshi” & “Save Water Resources” that will be conducted soon in coming days. Discussion between the participants conducted for 2 hours on the climate change and the adaptation issues. Due to unmanaged human settlement, industrialization, excess use of natural resources and other human activity green house gases are increasing in the higher rate which is directly affecting our health and environment. Many of us are lacking the attention towards its minimization and control and which is resulting the change in our climate i.e.: Climate Change and which is the cause of impacts such as; increased severity of storms, flood, loss of wildlife, disease outbreak, damage to human settlement etc. By announcing the 3 projects and thanking the participant the program was ended by President of AYC.
